Need a hand with Revlo? Email itsdannytmedia@gmail.com and we'll get back to you. The answers below cover the most common questions.
Getting started
How do I collect a car?
Point your camera at a real car and tap the shutter. Revlo identifies the make, model, and rarity, then mints a one-of-a-kind card from your own photo. Your catches live in your garage.
Why did it say "couldn't identify"?
Revlo would rather abstain than guess wrong, so on a hard shot it won't fake a card. Try again with a clearer, closer, well-lit angle where the badges and shape are visible — or log the car yourself from the same screen.
Why did it say the car isn't real?
Revlo only collects real cars out in the world. Photos of screens, printouts, posters, or toy cars are rejected by design — that's what keeps every collection authentic.
Accounts & your collection
Do I need an account?
No. Revlo is local-first — you can use the whole app without signing in. Your collection lives on your device.
How do I back up or move to a new phone?
Open Account and choose Sign in with Apple (the only sign-in method). Your collection backs up to the cloud and restores automatically when you sign in on a new device.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, go to Account → Delete Account to permanently remove your account and its cloud backup. (Your cards on the device itself stay until you delete the app.) You can also email itsdannytmedia@gmail.com to request deletion of any server-side data.
Permissions
- Camera — required to snap the cars you spot.
- Location — optional; tags the city where you caught a car. Only the city name is kept, never your coordinates.
- Photos — optional; used when you save or share a card.
You can grant or revoke any of these any time in iOS Settings.
